Defibrillators are designed to guide the user through an emergency, and you do not need to be a qualified first aider to operate one.

• No previous first aid experience required - AED training is suitable for people of all experience levels.
• Three-year certification - Successful delegates receive an accredited AED Defibrillator Training certificate.

What does defibrillator training cover?

The course is designed to help your team understand exactly what to do if somebody suddenly collapses.

Training includes:

• The Chain of Survival - Understanding the actions that can give somebody the best possible chance of survival following cardiac arrest.
• CPR - Practical CPR training and revision so delegates know how to respond while a defibrillator is being retrieved.
• Understanding defibrillators - Learn what an AED does, when it should be used and how it guides you through an emergency.
• Practical AED training - Hands-on experience using training defibrillators in realistic scenarios.
• Assessment - Delegates demonstrate the skills they have learned during the session.
