The ZOLL AED 3 semi-automatic defibrillator is one of the most advanced AEDs available in the UK, packed with features that set it apart from any other unit on the market. With universal adult and child pads and a battery that both last 5 years, the AED 3 offers one of the lowest total costs of ownership of any defibrillator, making it an excellent long-term investment for businesses, schools, sports clubs and public venues.

Real CPR Help technology sets the ZOLL AED 3 semi-automatic defibrillator apart from the competition. The universal CPR Uni-padz detect the motion of chest compressions and provide real-time feedback on rate and depth, while a constant metronome maintains a pace of at least 100 compressions per minute in line with the latest CPR guidelines. This means even an untrained rescuer can deliver effective CPR with confidence.

A high-resolution full colour display shows graphic images and text alongside every voice prompt, making the unit easy for anyone to follow. The screen also displays elapsed time and number of shocks delivered, providing critical information that paramedics will need on arrival. Dual orientation allows the AED to be used upright or flat for the best screen visibility during a rescue.

Switching to child mode is as simple as pressing the child button on the front of the unit, with no need to swap electrode pads. The child mode should be selected when treating a child or infant under 8 years old or under 25kg. Please note the purple CPR sensor is not intended for patients under 1 year of age and should be removed and placed next to the patient.

The ZOLL AED 3 semi-automatic defibrillator is WiFi enabled and compatible with ZOLL's PlusTrac AED Programme Management System. Once registered and connected, the unit reports its status to PlusTrac during every automatic self-test. If a fault is detected or a report is missed, you are notified immediately by email. PlusTrac is free for the first year with an annual subscription thereafter.
